There is a miracle to your life!

Bible text: Mark 5:23 -24 / Luke 8:50

 I want to talk about a miracle in the life of a man, of a father, and of a leader. His name is Jairo. He had a bad time in his life. The Bible said in the book of Mark 5:23 that this father came to Jesus and prostrated himself at the feet of Jesus. Why did he do it? Because he had a big problem inside his house. His only daughter was very sick.

​The great truth is..... that when we have problems in life.... we need the help of Jesus. Jairus had a big problem, but he left the problem at home and walked to meet Jesus. Perhaps, you are here this morning (or night) and you are in need of a miracle.

Do you need miracle in your life, in your home, in your school, in your life with God? Let's learn from Jairus steps for the miracle to reach us.

A - Do what you can do. Do not let others do what only you can do.

"This rock" is yours and you will have to remove it. (read John 11:39) There is a miracle for your life but if you don’t move.... nothing will happen. This man had a correct attitude. He moved!

Maybe you need to do the same today with your life! The text shows us action verbs.

1 - Jairus went to Jesus. There will never be miracles for our family life if we aren’t  the right person. The person is Jesus Christ! The American family, the Brazilian family, the African family must go to Jesus to receive their miracle. If you need miracles in your home... go to Jesus because He will save your home. It is very good to have friends, be loved, meet new people, but none of that can generate the miracle. There are many around the world saying: I do miracles! That's a lie! This is the voice of the devil. Be careful! Only Jesus Christ can do miracles in our lives. Do you want to be blessed? Go to Jesus Christ!

  

2 - Jairus saw Jesus. We are living in difficult times..... we can lose focus in life. After so many fights and quests to solve their family situation ....Jairo looked for the right person. I still remember when I looked into the eyes of my wife Claudia Rosa, was a long time ago. I felt good to be with her and be able to look into her eyes. Picture yourself beside your wife, fiancee or girlfriend or boyfriend. Look into his or her eyes and say: When I look at you I forget all my problems. This is a beautiful moment! We need it! However, Jairo tried to look at all those around him. Looked at his wife, look for his family and could not find relief. The peace that our lives need only come when our eyes seek the person of Jesus Christ. You may say: Preacher I'm not seeing anything. I do not see Jesus! This is an act of faith. You can not see Jesus but His eye are upon you. The miracle in the life of this father named Jairus, began when he looked at Jesus.

​We face the fights of life, and look at all sides seeking a moment of peace, however, that peace will only come when our eyes are in the person of God. Who are you looking at when problems arise? In our daily life what do we see that may become weary. Turn on the TV..... we see only tragedies. Our eyes are watching the violence. I live in a city that is a common with assaults and it's frightening. We are the generation of technology, and you know this, but we are the generation that is slowly dying. There are people who have stopped dreaming. No more planning. No more hugging. Some even gave up the family because the fights they might be going through. I need to tell you something very important that can change your life: Put your eyes on Jesus Christ! Look at him! Stop getting hurt while looking at other things. Jairo looked at Jesus and you can do the same today in this place. There are miracles for your life!!!

3 - Jairus fell at Jesus' feet. With this attitude,  Jairo was saying that Jesus was the Son of God, the Lord's anointed. Jairus was an important man in his time, but he set aside all his fame and

worshiped Jesus. Today, unfortunately a lot of people are wanting miracles but do not want to worship the Lord Jesus Christ. In Brazil there are thousands and thousands of churches, but people are

worshiping men, and not the Lord. Jairus came to Jesus' feet. Now that's worship! While we're standing we will not receive the miracle we need. We need to humble ourselves at the feet of Jesus Christ. He is the Lord and we are his servants. Who wants to receive miracles in your family life?  Then, you need to fall before Jesus Christ.

Our worship will bring the miracle to our life. In the book of Acts 16:25, we are told that while Paul and Silas prayed and worshiped, the miracle came. Whoever needs a miracle worships God. Open your mouth and your heart and worship the Lord tonight (or morning), in this place. There will be difficult moments in our lives that make us close down within ourselves. However, the Holy Spirit will lead us to worship the Lord. The Father knows what is going on inside your home, so worshiped the Lord Jesus Christ. In the book of John 4:23 we read that The Lord God is looking for true worshipers. The Lord is looking for you. Do not let the difficulties keep you from worship. I believe that the churches in Brazil and here in America need to worship the Lord more.

B – Let God do what only He can do.

​It says in the book of Mark 5:24 that Jesus went with Jairus toward his home. Jairo has not prevented the blessing of Jesus. The sick woman was healed, and other lives too. Look at the blessing that will come in your life. Does God prevent the action? No! Let God make His way. The miracle is on the way to your house, but before reaching a lot of people...You must not be selfish. God's miracles are for all of us. Invite Jesus to come to your house and he certainly will. Say: Lord the door is open..... you can come into my home and bless my family. Make your miracle in our lives. Jesus will come in to your house and your life will change. Do you believe in miracles? So, it will happen!! Jesus is coming to change things. Let God do this for you too!

C - Do not listen to negative words ...

The miracle will happen in your life and you have to believe it. During this waiting period you will have to stand firm. Be careful with the negative words! There is an enemy who will talk you out of your miracle.    Arrived and spoke to Jairus, Thy daughter is dead. Jesus can not help you anymore. God can not do anything more for you. The presence of Jesus was the confirmation of the miracle on Jairus' family, but he should continue to believe in the face of contrary words. Some people do not want to see your victory and you need to stand firm on God's promise. God has a good word to strengthen our faith in the face of adversity. Jesus said to the father named Jairus, "Fear not, only believe and your daughter will be saved" (Luke 8:50) If you need a miracle in your family's life, hear the voice of Jesus Christ and stop listening to the voice the enemy. Take your difficulties to the Lord He has a good word for your life. Your miracle is coming! Your miracle is Jesus Christ! When Jairus asked for help the Bible says: "... and Jesus was with him ..." (Mark 5:24)

The miracle we need is one: The presence of Jesus Christ. He is coming into our homes, in our families and things will be transformed. Hallelujah!! I need to tell you again: Hear the voice of Jesus Christ! Your miracle is coming! You will make a big party at your house with your family and will celebrate the miracle. It will happen! Do not give up! I wanted to talk to you about it because I was in my home with fever and toothache when those words began to flow into my heart. I believe that this word came from the heart of God to our hearts. One more time: God bless your life my dear brother, my dear sister. May the Lord bless the youth of this church. May the Lord bless the pastor of this church. May the Lord bless the American family. Do not forget: There is a miracle for your life!
